OverDrive, Inc.

OverDrive, which is the first eBook provider to integrate its technology into the Horizon Information Management System and Dynix ILS, offers the largest collection of popular, best-selling eBooks available to libraries. OverDrive delivers thousands of titles in a variety of subject areas, from hundreds of leading publishers like HarperCollins Publishers, Cliff's Note, John Wiley, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, Scholastic Inc., and Nolo Press.

Additionally, through its membership in the OCLC Cataloging Partners Program, OverDrive offers high quality, full-text bibliographic records enhanced for eBook catalog holdings. OCLC-MARC records include catalog data that is specific to digital media, including direct links or images to eBooks.

Digital Library Reserve was designed to allow librarians to build and manage an eBook collection containing best-selling eBooks from the world's most popular authors. Digital Library Reserve is web-based, and there is no hardware or software to buy. Even reports and settings such as loan periods and check out maximums are managed through an administrative web portal.

The integration of Digital Library Reserve will enable Dynix libraries to loan best-selling eBooks to their users through their own Web sites, controlling access to the collection through Dynix Remote Patron Authentication. Authenticated users can download eBooks to their personal computers and PDA devices in Adobe Reader (PDF) and other popular formats. The eBooks automatically expire and check themselves back into the library's digital collection when due.

Libraries will love total inventory retention, and patrons will love the selection.
